7. Dispatcher’s Workflow

9. Meet the MC and Driver

The dispatcher needs to know the answers to a broker's possible questions during the negotiations in advance. It is crucial to analyze the MC Carrier you intend to work with. Once the Dispatcher gets all the info about their MC, it's time to get to know the Driver and find out all the details. 2 lessons, 2 home assignments.


10. Weekly Plan

As you already know, weekly schedules represent the most convenient timeframe for working in this system. What do you need to plan ahead? You need to know everything about the Driver! 11. Finding Freight

Looking for loads is the main task of the dispatcher. The most important thing is finding the appropriate load for the best price possible. The dispatcher starts searching for loads based on his estimated plan. Getting a good load requires filtering out the load-board, calling brokers, and checking them for factoring. 12. Negotiations

13. Paperwork
